In February of 2020, I decided to sew myself a headband. I posted a picture of it on my Instagram, and some of my friends wanted me to make them one too! I started to create more headbands and the demand for them started to climb... so I started an Etsy shop to help me keep track of orders. Covid-19 happened in March which escalated my orders. Women all over the country couldn't get their hair done, so they wanted to buy headbands to cover up their roots. Healthcare workers wanted headbands with buttons so their masks wouldn't rub at their ears. Although Covid-19 was (and still is) terrible, one of the great things that came out of it was how my Etsy shop grew. I gained relationships with customers, my shop kept growing, and I had something to keep me busy... During this period of time, I started talking to God about how in the WORLD I was going to pay off my thousands of dollars of student loans. In the midst of this ongoing conversation with Him, is when this shop happened. It was such an answer to prayer! With God's provision and faithfulness, and I am happy to announce that I have paid off ALL of my student loans. PRAISE THE LORD. He is GOOD & FAITHFUL. I have BIG DREAMS for this little shop & I consider it a complete honor to be the one to create your headbands for you.
