While Lamb + Joy was officially founded in 2020 amidst the pandemic, it began long ago with hand-drawn invitations and cards for friends and little doodled notes tucked into lunch bags for the founder’s daughter. Finally, Lamb + Joy was created to share vintage-inspired art with others, offering it for sale on Instagram. The company name, Lamb + Joy, is a nod to the artist’s name, which means “lamb”, and her two sisters, whose names mean “joy” and “princess” - hence the sweet crown that rests on the logo.
