Originally from the vibrant city of Istanbul, my artistic journey found a new home in the picturesque landscapes of Edinburgh. In 2021, I faced a profound loss – my beloved father, a retired colonel with an unwavering dedication to his country. A man of multifaceted talents, he painted with precision, drew with finesse, and his handwriting was a testament to his meticulous attention to detail. It is from him that I inherited my creative spirit and artistic flair. In honour of his memory, SARIDENIZ Upcycled Jewellery was born. The name itself, SARIDENIZ, pays homage to my father's legacy, combining his surname and my maiden name. It is more than a brand; it is a tribute to a man who lived a life of service, creativity, and craftsmanship. Every piece I create is infused with the spirit of my father's artistic prowess.
