About Homemade NJ Candles

It all started when my boyfriend and I would walk around stores like Homegoods. He hated standing in the isle for an hour and one time he said, “Why don’t you just start making your own products?” I said to him, “No, I can’t do something like like.” A few months later he bought me a 5lbs bag of wax and said, “You never know until you try.” I tried and at first, I didn’t like it! It was too much to think about, I didn’t think I was doing it right, I didn’t know how I wanted the candles to look! Over the course of that year, somehow I just pulled it together. I can’t remember the exact moment it came together, but it did! I graduated college that year straight into a pandemic. Lost my job and my dignity. I decided at some point, why don’t I just go all in on this candle thing?! Through a lot of trial and error, here I am. I am in over ten retail stores, I go to multiple markets & Pop-up shops a year and I am truly, genuinely happy! I never thought when I was a little girl this would be the avenue id take as an adult but I truly love what I do! Read their story
