Founded by a Swedish husband-and-wife duo who moved from Stockholm to sunny Newport Beach, California, we brought with us a deep love for Swedish lösgodis—the pick-and-mix candy culture that’s a staple back home. We missed the vibrant flavors, the quality ingredients, and the tradition of strolling into a candy store to hand-pick your favorites. So, in 2025, we opened the doors to HELLO CANDY Balboa Island, a bright, happy space filled with authentic Swedish candy located in Newport Beach, CA. Our store quickly became a local favorite, offering a taste of Scandinavia in the heart of Southern California. But we didn’t stop there. As demand grew, so did our vision. Today, we’re proud to expand HELLO CANDY into wholesale—bringing premium Swedish candy to retailers, cafes, and concept stores across the U.S. We believe everyone should experience the joy of real Swedish candy, and we’re excited to be the go-to source for businesses seeking something truly unique and delicious.
