About Jewelled Buddha

Jewelled Buddha was born out of a love of age-old artisan techniques and the wanderlust of global textiles. After quitting the corporate and travelling for a year around Asia, travel taught me life-lessons of appreciating our clothes, people and the beautiful planet we live on. We work with social enterprises, NGO's and artisans who have a strong sense of integrity and transparency in their fair trade practices, women’s empowerment programmes and environmental impact. Each and every product we carry is handmade or handloomed by artisans empowered by a fair and sustainable income. We are passionate about age-old craft techniques and our products combine sustainable, responsibly sourced materials including upcycled fabric. This has less impact on people and the planet. I believe we all have the power to influence social change. For us that means fashion that has been created consciously.
