Founded in 2018, The Haute Wick Social quickly became a great place for friends to gather and create beautiful scented soy candles together. Due to the pandemic we suspended our candle making workshops to primarily focus on expanding our candle, tart, & body care lines. Candles brought me a sense of peace and I wanted to share it with others. I had a vision to teach people how to create beautiful non-toxic soy candles. I made that vision reality on November 24, 2018 and started on this amazing journey. It's been incredible, even throughout these challenging times. The Haute Wick Social is more than a candle shop, it's a community. I'm proud of the partnerships I've developed with our wonderful non-profits in our region. We are members of the Doggy Day Out program at Little Victories Animal Rescue and The Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Shelter, hosting adoptable dogs at the shop for a day of fun away from the shelter. I've also had the privilege of hosting fundraisers and/or creating candles to benefit: Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Shelter, Dress for Success River Cities, Little Victories Animal Rescue, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Huntington, Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the Tri-State, Recovery Point West Virginia, Huntington Pride and Lily's Place.
