Sheffield Dragon is only here because someone gave me a big bag of chillies 3 years ago and I didn’t know what to do with them! I went to freeze the gifted chillies and found I already had several kilos of chillies in my freezer that other folks had given me, so I decided to use them all and make a chilli pickle for our Christmas cheese board. So many jars were made that I decided to give them away as stocking fillers that Christmas, anyway the original pickle went down so well friends and family kept asking me for more of it! A few months later when the pandemic hit, I went on reduced hours and instead of cleaning my house on the days I had off (as my wife would’ve preferred) I started a chilli pickle and hot sauce company. Here we are over 2 years later with 10 hot sauce flavours, 3 chilli pickles, 1 BBQ sauce and a BBQ rub. Due to having some food allergies growing up, I wanted anything I made to be accessible to as many people as possible! Everything we make is vegan, with no added allergens and as far as possible no additives or preservatives! All our range has been developed with flavour in mind rather than overwhelming heat! Even our hottest products are so well balanced you can still pick out other ingredients over the chillies!
