We are a small business located in Germany and started Melting Planet Clothing in August of 2021. First we started out as dilandesigns offering all types of custom embroidery but soon we wanted to create a brand that stands for something more and focuses on giving something back to our world. Melting Planet Clothing stands for change. We want to help put an end to climate change by using materials that don't harm our planet and by donating 20% of each purchase to Carbon180. We purchase our hoodies and sweatshirts from GILDAN who are committed to pursuing continuous improvements to transition to even more low-carbon, energy-efficient manufacturing practices. In 2020 they reported a 2.6% decrease in their energy intensity and 33% of their total energy came from renewable resources. Our shirts are from Earth Positive where they are produced exclusively from organic Indian cotton according to G.O.T.S. Earth Positive apparel is made in manufacturing facilities powered by green renewable energy, like wind and solar power. The carbon footprint of Earth Positive products has been reduced by 90% and the calculations certified under the PAS2050 standard. Since August 2021 we donated more than 500€ to Carbon180 - which was way more than we expected! By helping us grow and supporting us through different channels you make it possible for us to continually use better materials and give back even more. Thank you for being a part of our mission.
