About Der Kleine Knick

Our founding story tells how through the courage and passion to think outside the box and go an extra mile again and again, a friendship service became a great vision. As a printing and packaging engineer, Tobias is really into thinking and going one step further. He has always loved the creative use of paper and cardboard and has retained his creative, inner child to this day. When friends asked if he could make a special school bag for their little son, he immediately and passionately jumped on this project as if it were about his own schooling. A cool school bag for a little dinosaur fan. What a nice challenge! Tobias worked many night shifts. Trying this. Trying that. Designed, tinkered, fiddled until he liked the result. And suddenly our prototype was born: a dinosaur school bag. And with this dino, our product idea too. Tobias's commitment was worth it: The little dinosaur fan was overjoyed and the school enrollment was a complete success. Everyone - children, teachers, parents, were impressed by this innovative school bag, which, in addition to its great look, also impressed by its many practical and sustainable functions. Together, we began to implement the concept of “first standing school cone” into further product ideas and the associated patent.
