About Lyndsey Currie - Knitted Accessories

Hi, I’m Lyndsey — a knitwear designer based in Dundee, Scotland. Originally from Edinburgh, I studied Textiles at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, specialising in knitting. After graduating, I became Designer in Residence at the University, followed by a role as Knit and Stitch Technician. These roles allowed me to refine my technical expertise while teaching and supporting the next generation of knitters — before taking the leap into self-employment to build my own brand. The Brand & Products My work is inspired by Brutalist architecture, translating bold, structural forms into playful yet refined knitted designs. Strong shapes and confident colour palettes are at the heart of the collection, offering statement pieces that feel both contemporary and timeless. Every product is designed and made by me in Dundee, Scotland, using a hand-powered knitting machine, ensuring small-batch quality and attention to detail. I use 100% premium lambswool, spun and dyed in Scotland with environmentally friendly dyes, resulting in soft, durable products with a luxurious finish.
