When we look to nature, through her repeating patterns, we can’t help but be reminded of how we're all connected. When I create, I spend what can feel like an eternity sifting and sorting for the perfect specimens and then arranging and rearranging plant matter until I can feel the harmony in the composition. My goal is always to reveal the intrinsic beauty of the flowers I’m working with. Further, the foraging and cultivation process gives me permission to enter nature’s classroom with a playful sense of “What will I find today?” Through my work, I invite you into the magical realms of nature. ​My botanical arts line began in 2006 and has evolved through my best-selling original mixed media botanical collages, pressed flower jewelry and botanical printing on fabric (a.k.a. ecoprinting). All of my work is comprised of equal parts art, science, and magic. As both an artist and the owner of a working gallery and boutique, I bring a unique perspective to every piece I create. I’m not only designing from a place of creativity, but also from years of experience understanding what resonates—what draws people in, what feels meaningful, and what becomes a lasting part of someone’s home or personal style. This dual role allows me to thoughtfully develop collections that are not only visually compelling, but also cohesive, versatile, and truly sellable in a retail environment.
