I live in Sicily, between the sea of the Aeolian Islands and my city: Palermo. Filicudi is a source of inspiration and research for me. Ceramics have always been my passion. Manual work and creativity have accompanied me at every moment of life. From a very young age, I exhibited my works in Milan, New York, Tokyo, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries. I started working again after a long period of inactivity by opening a new space with a garden, which I call my little studio. My great passions, clay and the sea, have always been with me. Filicudi is an accomplice in my life, a magical island that I love dearly with its colors, scents, endless landscapes, sunsets, mule tracks, dry stone walls, and its sea, azure, green, blue. Sicily, with its cultural richness and millennia-old traditions, is for me an inexhaustible source of inspiration. The colors that surround me, the enveloping scents, and the atmosphere of my island are reflected in the objects I create and with which I like to tell a story, an emotion, a vision of my world. Through their shapes and details, I try to convey this magic made of symbols, but not without irony. My collections represent the fruit of this passion and my personal research. They are enriched day by day with pieces of contemporary design, created by combining creativity with artisanal care and interpreted in an ironic way. I tell the love for Palermo.Read their story
