The idea & the beginning It all began in 2010 when Philip Bennecke created the very first Kashmir Janker from “My Heart Love” for his daughter “Alice” and dedicated it to her as a child. The design, cut and color scheme were so well received by friends and acquaintances that the idea was put on a firm footing. The Munich founding team was convinced that the high-quality, colorful jankers made from the finest cashmere would also generate enthusiasm beyond the south of Germany. Since then, we have been delighting people all over Germany with our Janker. We create favorites that will not only dress you up stylishly for Oktoberfest or local folk festivals, but will also inspire and accompany you in your everyday life. The thought Every Janker is still designed by Philip Bennecke with the greatest care and dedication.
