About Cathy Peng Art & Design

As a little girl, I dreamed of selling my own stationery and gift product line. I never imagined that it would revolve mostly around cats, having been a dog lover growing up. It was my husband, then boyfriend, who turned me on to them, and I have been cat crazy ever since. My small business was born in 2004 after I was laid off from my first "real" job after art college. I decided to adopt my first cat, Suki, a black and white "tuxedo" from a local shelter. She became my main muse for the next 19 years - finding her way onto greeting cards, buttons, magnets, clothing, bags and other stationery items - and still inspires me to this day.
