In 2017, the then 19-year-old graduation friends Max Olof and Marcel founded the WEEWINE brand with the aim - to bring the iconic drink known in their native Palatinate - wine spritzer - to the market in a can. They decided to focus on the classic Riesling and Rosé varieties. The focus of production was on quality and proximity to home, which is why the wine was purchased from the renowned winegrowers' cooperative - Vier Jahreszeiten - in the heart of the Palatinate - Bad Dürkheim. Their studies took them both to different locations. Because of the local separation, cooperation became more difficult and they decided to hand WEEWINE into the hands of Money Max Olof. Max Olof's handwriting appeared for the first time in the rebranding in 2020 with a new can design and brand logo. From now on, in addition to his ongoing studies, he focused on bulk buyers for events and online retail, with WEEWINE becoming one of the leading Amazon wine drinks. From this point on, the initially regionally sourced wine spritzer developed into an international, cosmopolitan brand for wine trend drinks. This is due to Max Olof's already international way of life. The German-Swede has always been able to inspire friends and other guests from a wide variety of countries for his native Palatinate and the accompanying wine spritzer. It was therefore clear for Max Olof to create a piece of home for everyone with the drink.
