It all began from the island of the heart. ZILE’M is Haitian Creole for “my island.” The brand is inspired by the rich heritage and culture of the designer’s homeland. A world of wonder surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. ZILE’M pieces are created with appreciation for nature and a strong sense of cultural identity. Through them, we take the opportunity to tell a different story, a positive narrative about Haiti. ZILE’M designs are bold and distinctive with a Haitian-Caribbean-African flavor. They feature the flora and fauna found on the island, enhanced by vibrant color gradients, and the use of cultural symbolism.
