About L Linen + Clay

Our shop started during the pandemic when our younger daughter was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. She lost all her hair and sadly her confidence. We started to explore ways to recover her self esteem. We discovered that she was the most content when making art. She would draw a picture and I would make the picture into an accessory - earrings, bookmarks etc. And she realized that she didn’t need hair to be good at something and be beautiful. We continued to work on making accessories that are inspired by her imagination. We believe in silver lining and are very grateful for the opportunity to do what we truly enjoy even during the most difficult time.
