About Tagua & Co

Tagua & Co is a company that creates jewelry, fashion accessories and decorative objects made of vegetable ivory (also called “tagua”). She has her original models manufactured directly in Ecuador, under fair trade conditions, by a family craft business that employs a dozen adult workers. The vegetable production of tagua is ensured annually by trees that do not undergo any chemical treatment or the addition of fertilizers. Once dried, the fruits are shaped and dyed using traditional processes. The jewels are assembled by hand with care to ensure a perfect finish and remarkable quality. Read their story
