OLD FRIEND was literally born out of a schnapps idea. I was looking for a particularly fresh yet bitter GIN, didn't find one and tried it myself. As a chemist, you have certain basic experience. After several tests and failures, OLD FRIEND developed from this. OLD FRIEND is the premium GIN and impresses with hand-picked, perfectly matched botanicals. The focus is on kumquat, which has passed on to the gin a complex interplay of sweet-sour aromas of the pulp with tart tasting notes of the peel. Combined with juniper, cardamom and other botanicals, a unique taste experience is created. Organic quality raw materials are used consistently and the distillation is carried out regionally in Saxony in cooperation with a highly experienced specialist.
