Happy Dash Design Co is a brand dedicated in the memory of our sweet angel Dash who crossed the rainbow bridge in July 2018. He was the Happiest pup even through all the tough obstacles he fought to overcome. At only a year old, Dash was diagnosed with idiopathic Epilepsy and our lives were forever changed. We quit our corporate jobs and we rearranged our lifestyle to cater to him and make sure he had supervision 24/7. In 2016 Dash lost his ability to use his back legs and we were so desperate to find answers but with all the vet bills that were piling up we turned to crowdfunding after being encouraged by his INSTA friends. We built him his first wheelchair out of PVC pipes in our living room, Paid our bills by making and selling handcrafted items and eventually raised enough funds to finally get him an MRI. Tragically, in 2018 just before we could get his MRI, Dash's health deteriorated dramatically, he was diagnosed with a rapidly aggressive rare form of spinal Cancer and within weeks, the morning of what would have been his first oncology appointment, our sweet boy decided on his own accord that he wanted to take his final breath at home, with his family. We had a mantra with Dash, everyday we would #KEEPDASHINGFORWARD and now we do. We donate a large portion of our proceeds and give back to the pet community on IG as well as rescue organizations and local shelters. Our Epilepsy /Wheelie pup line is donated 100% to UC DAVIS Department of Animal Science.
