Hello! I'm Nita the founder of Ninu Handmade I'm a Lisu Ethnic from Thailand living in the USA. A lot of people have no idea what that is even people from Thailand. It's a very small ethnic minority group, you can Google "Lisu Ethnic group in Thailand" if you're interested and want to learn more. I learned hand sewing and Lisu traditional weaving from my grandma when I was 8 since then I loved to create something with my hands. I am always learning (Self- taught) something new about craft/art. It's endless and fascinating!! I enjoy making tiny embroidered necklaces, bookmarks and creating DIY kits for people who are inspired by my work and want to make their own, but don't know how to begin. What I love about doing these tiny wearable and giftable embroidery art is I get to enjoy the process of making them and then I'm happy to see the final result in such a perfect amount of time once they are ready for gifting. It is AMAZING that I don't need to be sitting in my craft room at home to do it. It makes my creations even more unique with their own stories from how and where they had been created. They are precious and special just like someone who chose them. When you are supporting me you're also supporting my tribe and my dream! Thank you for being here.
