About Punaballoo

Punaballoo is the brainchild of self-taught artist Angela Sheehan. It started innocently enough at the height of the Covid pandemic. She decided to paint her succulent, Walter, for fun. When she showed her husband the finished painting, he said. "Cute. Put succ it under there, but spell it like succulent." She laughed and agreed it was just what it needed. She shared it on social media and got a good enough response that she kept painting plant and food puns. Eventually, she opened an Etsy shop and started selling in local markets and shops. Punaballoo celebrates color, whimsy, and a splash of irreverence. Reminding us to stay connected to our inner child and the magic and humor in simple things.Read their story
