About fro. (for rugs outdoors)

"Why do all picnic blankets look the same?" - this was the primary thought that started fro. When looking around to a packed park on a summer's afternoon, we could only see checks and stripes and we wanted this to change… fro. was born. ‍ In recent times, we've all been spending more time outdoors. We wanted to celebrate this, by creating a rug that’s super-comfy, of high quality and a stunning piece of art in itself. ‍ Our mission is to bring art to parks, beaches and venues in the UK whilst supporting the community at the same time. 10% of all profits go to charities that support the homeless. fro. was founded by Ashley Smith and Billy Stookes who go way back (school to be exact). Billy’s background is in music, having toured globally and played at some of the world's most famous venues. Ash is an entrepreneur who has seen success within the events industry. ‍ Together we wanted to create a product that was totally unique with a strong social cause at its core. fro. was born.Read their story
