About herrfliege

We are two boys — media informatics student Urbi and architecture student Fusi — who somehow want to make the world a better place. But it quickly became clear that beer and FIFA 13 would only make the world a better place in the short term. So we wanted to develop something that suited the fast-paced modern world, but was still timeless and sustainable. It had to be something unique, technically sophisticated, and when the idea of HerrFliege was born after a few evenings, we knew immediately: With our funky wooden flies, the world is by no means better, but the men's world is much prettier! In a small Munich factory, we lovingly produce unique wooden accessories by hand. Starting from design, through woodwork and tailoring to the ready-packed bow tie, a truly handmade, local product is created here. The natural grain of the wood makes each fly truly unique. From 18 different woods, different shapes and over 200 fabrics, you can create your own perfect wooden bow tie.Read their story
