Established in Highland Park, CA in 2023, Calysto Attar is exclusively curated and run by Alyce Saad. Her interest in archiving scents is tethered to her lineage as a first generation Lebanese-Palestinian American. Aroma as scent and connection is a long-held tradition for the women in her family. Alyce created Calysto Attar to honor that tradition, becoming the first woman in her family to own a business. Inspired by her background and travels throughout the Mediterranean and Middle East, Calysto Attar’s rich and distinct candles are carefully hand-poured with an exclusive blend of premium oils to capture a nostalgia rooted in the modern.
