Afri-root Collective is a socially responsible business that sells exquisite, unique handicrafts made by skilled women artisans in East Africa. Our business is devoted to bringing you the best selection of very unique handcrafted items that are reasonably priced. A portion of the proceeds is used to train other women to work towards sustainability. We have a wide range of favourable impact on the society. From supporting the critical, strategic industry of craft-making, empowering women from modest backgrounds to win gain full potential of their worth, Poverty alleviation, community growth; and cultural-development have greatly been promoted. The training for the development of craft- making skills in women reinstates the mentioned favourable impact in Uganda. Due to the high level of poverty in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania, most people especially women seek ways to fulfil their obligations as caretakers of their families. Besides agriculture, Craft making is another major activity that promotes community growth.
