About Laboratoire Textile

Behind Laboratoire Textile, there is only me. I could summarize my work as a micro textile design studio where I create objects using folding and screen printing techniques. I started my career in a CNRS research laboratory, where I created 3D architectural models specialized in lighting rendering. Today, I fold lamps in the former hair salon of a monastery. Over time, I realized that making objects with my hands reassured me because it is tangible. My process is deliberately simple and low-tech. Each lamp is shaped one fold at a time.
