I, Anne GOURIN, beekeeper on my farm: the Gold of the Hive, I offer you a range of honeys from my apiaries located entirely in Anjou. This commitment is certified by the department of Maine et Loire through the designation “Product in Anjou”. My methods of driving apiaries and harvesting (no mixing of honeys, use of hunting bees, apiaries of small sizes,...) are the guarantee of the authenticity of the flavors and the guarantee of the “Madeleine de Proust” effect for consumers. GOOD, CLEAN and FAIR is my leitmotiv. GOOD: The search for specific textures, flavors and colors for each of my honeys guide the implantation of my colonies to the rhythms of the flowering of the different essences that make up the rich biodiversity of Baugeois. CLEAN: The apiaries are established in order to provide access to food resources for bees in areas where the presence of pesticides is almost non-existent (forests, property parks, organic farms,...). All the apiaries of the farm are located within a radius of 30 km around the farm in order to have a minimum carbon footprint. FAIR: Consumer prices are designed to allow consumers to access a quality product and the producer to make a decent living from his work.Read their story
