Karrie McRae – I started my metal art journey by happenstance, I was Alway tinkering in my husband's shop making things and waiting on him to weld them for me. At this point I had very limited knowledge about welding, plasma cutting, or any other metal equipment. Well, one thing led to another, and I purchased my very first plasma table. While I was “trudging through the trenches” as they say, I learned to tack weld on my own through trial and error. I was in need of that particular tool, and no one was around for guidance, I would teach myself. I took a crash course in tack welding (best day of my Life!) Seeing the work come to life led me to enter an art show. This was the turning point for me, when my passion for making things with metal turned from a small hobby into what we now call Cut-N-Rust, full-blown metal business!
