The SyNeo® Cosmetics division, which has existed since 1995, was created through the cooperation of the current managing director Thomas Brunner III in collaboration with a pharmacist. This produced an effective but not very skin-friendly antiperspirant. Thomas Brunner III suffered from excessive sweating since his youth. Many antiperspirants caused skin irritation or were not as effective as hoped for. So it was obvious to take care of the further development of the antiperspirant in order to significantly increase its skin compatibility without impairing its high effectiveness. All antiperspirants have aluminum salts as a basic basis. However, a good antiperspirant does not simply convince with a higher proportion of aluminum salts. In case of overdose, the skin becomes too irritated, the effect may even be absent and permanent use is not possible. The sensible combination of precisely matched, high-quality raw materials that protect the skin from irritation and, ideally, provide additional care is crucial. In a 2-year development period, an effective yet skin-friendly antiperspirant was created. The origin of the current syNEO® antiperspirant range.
