About CHATEAU LAGRANGE

The Lagrange estate, planted with vines since the beginning of the 19th century, has been producing wine whose quality has been recognized by the prestigious Féret guide since the very first editions of 1850. Owned by M. de Subercazeaux (also master of Château les Eyquems in Tauriac), who owned it from his mother, the estate was sold to Adolphe Sicard in 1908. It was he who built the “castle” in 1928, and who developed the reputation of the vineyard, before passing on the torch to his grandson. In 2020, after a long period of leasing during which the wine was marketed under another name, Alexandre and Laurence Laffont bought the estate: “Château Lagrange” was reborn.Read their story
