During Megan's architecture studies at Cal Poly, she discovered a passion for watercolor painting. After graduating and moving to Truckee, CA, she met her future husband, and as her family grew, so did her artistic journey. Inspired by parent-child relationships, she began showcasing her work at events, where children's reactions to her animal paintings encouraged her to pursue illustration further. This led to the creation of her ABC books, ABC Truckee and ABC Tahoe, celebrating her love for family and home. In 2022, she collaborated with a local author to illustrate Ski Patrol Pups, honoring a ski patrol dog named Walter. Her artistic journey continues to be driven by a deep passion for storytelling and community connection.Read their story
