About Garden’s Gate

Throw back to 1998 when our owners, Dave and Stephanie first met in high school. At the time Dave worked part time at his family greenhouse & garden center along side his mother and grandmother. After the pair began dating Stephanie joined the team for a summer job and realized her true calling…horticulture. A few (11 to be exact) years later, a couple college degrees, a wedding, 2 kids & a large number of critters Dave and Stephanie were given the opportunity to purchase one of the family garden center locations. At the time Stephanie was managing one location and Dave another of the family business, they had 2 small kids and the Great Recession of ‘08 was in full swing. The couple took a huge leap of faith and purchased what is now Garden’s Gate. Read their story
