About Women of Hope Guatemala

Women of Hope Guatemala weaves together business and discipleship into the fabric of our Christian ministry. This 'Business for Transformation' project empowers impoverished and often under-educated artisans with steady employment, providing them a dependable living wage which helps them meet the needs of their families. In addition to consistent work, we help artisans and their children with educational sponsorships providing opportunities to attend school beyond 6th grade through university. Started in Febuary of 2012, we began with two artisans and now work with more than twenty. 2022 was our best year to date in retail and we want to expand to into the wholesale market with hopes to grow our brand. Growing our brand means working with more artisans, which means the lives of more families are changed. Our small artisan group, Women of Hope Guatemala, is a project of the non profit, Perception Funding based out of Kansas City Missouri.Read their story
