Studio JED is a Brooklyn-based ceramics studio creating handmade lamps, side tables, and sculptural objects designed to bring warmth, texture, and a sense of quiet luxury into the home. Founded in 2025 by artist Jen Dwyer, the studio began as a personal project—born from the desire to create meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces while building a home with her partner after their engagement. With a background in fine art and a portfolio of exhibitions across New York, Los Angeles, and Europe, Dwyer brings an artist’s eye and a sculptor’s touch to every design. After relocating from rural Connecticut to New York City, she found fresh inspiration in contemporary architecture and the pace of urban life—sparking a desire to create work that softens modern spaces and invites a sense of calm. Each Studio JED piece is handcrafted in small batches using soft, natural tones and tactile finishes, thoughtfully made to complement elevated interiors.
