About Bumble and Bee Studio

Bumble and Bee Studio was founded by Melissa Richt after the birth of her daughter. At the time, she found it difficult to find a range of minimally designed basics that were durable and could withstand their quality throughout many washing cycles. Drawing upon her own experience in retail and business she sought to create her own capsule collection of interchangeable baby and toddler unisex clothing. Our first collection, launched in Autumn 2017, consists of 12 year-round playful essentials that are minimally designed in a soft pastel color palette. Hand illustrated tees, cozy cotton tunics, and casual rompers – all designed with sustainability and durability in mind. We use only the softest organic jersey and cotton, to ensure everyday comfort and function. All of our clothing is made according to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) using only GOTS certified materials.
