About Kmana Concept

This is our story. The beginning of our story, of Kmana’s journey. Like in all good stories, we know where the journey begins, but not where it ends. It all started with one bag Kmana’s journey started at the end of 2018, when we began working with a Balinese–Javanese family of gifted leather artisans, hand-crafting bags for our own travels, because we couldn’t find or we couldn’t afford the timeless bags that we cherished. Soon afterwards, friends and acquaintances began ordering their own bags and accessories. Without realizing it, our bags started traveling to Brisbane, Melbourne, Singapore, Hong Kong, NYC and Barcelona. Kmana and its first collection, formed organically in 2019 out of this unscripted process and the friendship that was forged with the community of leather artisans and weavers. Read their story
