About CELESTE

As a graphic arts student, I discovered Yves Klein's blue Venus at the museum of contemporary art in Nice, a monochrome sculpture of a luminous and impressive blue. I was captivated by this piece, a mix between tradition and contemporaneity. Why the virgin? My mother adored the Virgin Mary, I grew up with this icon that has always fascinated me. The Virgin is more than just a representation, it is a powerful symbol of hope, faith and protection. Discreet and silent in nature, today it has abandoned churches and has become an essential and omnipresent icon of pop culture, reigning and powerful. Céleste was born from the encounter and complementarity between two friends, a graphic designer and a product engineer. We decided to create a sculpture of the Virgin in resin, painted in our workshop with very bright colors to give it, like Yves Klein's Blue Venus, more prominence and modernize her image, to integrate it into our daily lives, bringing joy and harmony, spirituality and decoration.Read their story
