About Tea House Designs

Alyssa Asteya, an artist and native Portlander, created Tea House Designs to share her unique and beautiful, but also fun and affordable, wearable artwork. Inspired by an Asian aesthetic, her cuff bracelets and earrings combine a modern material (polymer clay) with traditional designs that appeal to many. After creating a small polymer clay project, mixing the clay to look like jade, she realized the clay would make beautiful bracelets and earrings and spent about a year experimenting before finding just the right way to make them. The bracelets feel cool and smooth on your wrist. In bright and metallic colors, they resemble jade, silver, copper and leather cuffs, but are soft and flexible, lightweight and vegan.
