I started making soap in 2008 as a hobby. After a few years of playing around with the idea of starting a business, I took a hard left and joined the Military. While I was on deployment in 2014, I again started thinking about starting a soap business, so I started brainstorming with my wife. When my wife got pregnant with our first child, I decided to expand from my soaping and make her a body butter to try to help with stretch marks. Since she was pregnant, this led to the decision to use all natural ingredients. In 2017, I finally had my soap recipe perfected and started selling to shipmates, but we’ve been growing steadily ever since. In 2019, we made the decision to reformulate all of our products to include Vegan options. We’ve always been cruelty free and vegetarian, so this seemed like the next logical step. So, if there are products that aren’t available, it’s because we’re still working on them.
