About Grumpy Rocks

Grumpy Rocks® are hilariously unique home décor items. They resemble real rocks, but have a bit more attitude. Each of our hand-painted characters has an emotive expression which is sure to add a little whimsy to your home, garden, or office. They also make a great gift for that person that has everything else. Or start your own collection -- we'll be releasing new characters over time and retiring others. And don't forget...kids love Grumpy Rocks®! Grumpy Rocks® were born in a small art studio in Raleigh, NC from the creative vision of a scientist/sculptor. While the first versions were handmade of paper and cloth, Grumpy Rocks® have evolved and are now made of a weather-resistant stone resin and can be kept inside or out. We make either standard desk/pet size or a larger garden size. Read their story
