In the beauty industry, there’s “makeup for children” and the emerging “Sephora Kids” market, but nothing in between. Girls aged 7-14 don’t want to use the same makeup as their little sisters, but what alternatives do they have besides Sephora? It didn’t feel right. At Talomi, we asked: Why aren’t tweens being considered? They’ve outgrown play makeup but aren’t ready for adult cosmetics.
