About Lumie Pets

Lumie Pets started with my corgi, Dobby. I adopted him in 2014, after learning he had been abused. To help him overcome the trauma, we spent a lot of time together—training, bonding, and learning new tricks. As a first-time dog owner, I was learning too. It wasn’t easy, but we grew together. As Dobby progressed, I wanted a way to celebrate those wins. With my background in industrial design, I created our first Dog Scout Merit Patch—and it became our tradition. Each patch marks a moment we’re proud of. I started Lumie Pets to share that joy with other pet parents.
