My name is Michelle. I am a Stationer and Letterpress printer in sunny Oceanside, California. I make lighthearted greeting cards that help people connect in an organic and personal way through the art of letterpress. From the moment I learned about letterpress I knew I had to get my hands on a Letterpress printer. I had never touched a letterpress until I bought my own! My press is affectionately named is Cleveland. Cleveland was made in 1887. That makes him over 100 years old! He may be old (and weigh over 1,000 lbs) but he run smooth as butter! When you receive a card that has been printed on a letterpress you receive something unique and special created by human hands. Letterpress has an organic personal touch. Each card is run through my hands and examined while being printed. In a world where everything is generic and mass produced, when you receive something that was made by hand it truly stands out.
