About Smile & Wave

Smile & Wave, the Ocean Brand. Do you love the ocean vibe? The sound of waves crashing on a sun bleached shore? That feeling of calm after a day scuba diving or snorkeling along a rocky coas? Leonie Flin is a graphic designer from the Netherlands and the founder of Smile & Wave. Leonie wanted to find just that sort of paradise when she went travelling in Asia. In many ways she did – diving with a whale shark and swimming with manta rays and giant sea turtles. But there was a problem. She was heartbroken by all the pollution she encountered. The seas were awash with plastic and many beaches were spoiled. She came home with a mission. Combining her skills as a designer and her love for the ocean she started transforming this dream into making beautiful ocean designs and products. Smile & Wave was born.Read their story
