Hi, I'm Alex! I came to New York City fresh out of college over ten years ago. With dreams of working in fashion, I was thrilled when I landed a job working on the jewelry accounts at a boutique public relations agency. My days were filled with fun, vibrant costume jewelry as well as high-end, more delicate pieces that can cost more than most cars, but after a year-and-a-half I had the sinking feeling that something wasn’t right. I wasn’t fulfilled by the work I was doing. Not long thereafter, I was approached by a coworker’s friend to nanny for her two boys, August and Wolf—something temporary while I found my footing and what I wanted to do next. Years (and some other career turns) later, I present to you Augie & Wolf, a line of baby feeding products designed with both caretaker and child in mind. I still hold the boys and the time I spent with them very near and dear to my heart, but I’ll say it— looking after two little ones can be a bit chaotic. As a result, I developed a good understanding of the expectations a parent might have when buying various baby products. Augie & Wolf’s mission is to create high-quality, practical goods with both you and your tiny tot in mind.
