Charlène Robin has been passionate about stationery since childhood: she has always loved drawing, gluing, assembling, and creating. She also likes beautiful stone houses, To which, as a child, she gave notes, already dreaming of becoming an architect. After completing a literary degree with an emphasis on plastic arts and art history, she trained in pottery, to satisfy her need to create with her own hands. Then, she entered an architecture school, with an Erasmus gap at a polytechnic school. After graduating, she worked in two architectural firms, where she learned the tricks of the trade. An entrepreneur at heart, at the age of 29, she created her own agency, specializing in renovation. In 2020, during lockdown, she read a book that asks the question: “What would you do if you were no longer afraid? ”. It's the trigger: tired of the constraints of the regulations and the requirements of the profession of architect, Charlène decided to change her life. She quit her job, and moved to the countryside to go back to basics and lead a simpler life. She quickly returned to paper, her first love, and made a series of sketches of cases, pouches and card holders. When she discovered washable paper and Eco-Fi felt, it was a revelation: Charlène found materials that were in line with her values. She embarked on the design of a collection of vegan accessories, and created her brand The Studio of C.Read their story
