About Hualle

In 2014 we had the idea of developing objects with their own identity. A modern design proposal that paid tribute to our origin, that reflected the exquisite beauty of a piece of wood hand-carved by artisans, and that at the same time could transmit the time that was dedicated to it. In this search we arrived to southern Chile, a place that moved us deep with its nature. There we got lost into the forests, we were guided by the volcanoes fumaroles and we saw our future reflected in the lake, calm and without pressures, with that characteristic rhythm that the south of Chile has. At the stage where we began to discover the woods, we realized that there was a word that was always repeated, “hualle”. It is mostly associated with oak, however, all woods pass through the “hualle” state at its youngest time.
