About TOOZLE

TOOZLE is a woman-owned business dedicated to creating sustainable puzzles from recycled chipboard and nontoxic ink. Our sturdy, high-quality puzzles are designed to be enjoyed over and over again, then recycled. A portion of every puzzle sale is donated to fight human trafficking in the United States. Since I was a young girl, I’ve loved jigsaw puzzles. My sisters and I would often sit with our mother near the sunny window of our California home, putting together jigsaw puzzles for hours on end. Even as a busy teen, I found it hard to resist a good puzzle. When I was a college freshman, other girls and I once stayed up an entire night working a puzzle in the dorm. For part of my career, I taught middle school science. Seeing my students’ eyes light up with new-found knowledge was a true delight. My husband, Joe Hennager, was trained as an art educator and is an accomplished artist in his own right. Our combined love of learning, art, and jigsaw puzzles sparked the birth of my woman-owned small business, TOOZLE, which I founded at the age of 70 (Jigsaw puzzles help keep our brains young!).
